The neuropsychiatric clinic “Panagia Grigorousa” constituted the vision of late Paraskevas Karagouliamos and started operating in 1958.
The basic principle of its founder was the care of the mentally ill in the best possible way. Ιn order to achieve this goal he considered as prerequisite the ‘love for fellow humans who suffer as well as scientific integrity.’ These two components constitute the principles by which future generations continue to provide their services.
The modernization of the clinic’s infrastructure in the course of half a century culminated in the ultramodern hospital department which was built and licensed in 2014. Manned by scientific staff of exceptionally high level, “Panagia Grigorousa” is led by scientific director, psychiatrist Theodosios Christodoulakis and is able to follow the rapid developments in the scientific field of the central nervous system (among others).
